Late period of City ( city Gates & foreground )

These gates are the main portals into the city. They were built with colossal huge stones. A retaining wall was added to it in the middle, to prevent its collapse in ruins.

As seen above, from the outside, it consisted of two cylindrical towers, and is part of a majestic sight of Perge. The inner eye on the structure, which is about 15 meters high, is spectacular and imposing. There is a presumption that this part of the structure was adorned with statues and as a sitting lounge in the Roman period
